Weekend at the lake

 Ellie caught a bass on her first try!

Ellie didn't know what to expect and didn't like the water in her face on her first tube ride.

Add goggles and some confidence on the second day and she loved it.  She didn't want to stop and wanted to "fall off" the tube at the end of the ride!

 Excited to spend time with great grandma and grandpa too!

By the end of the weekend, Ellie was swimming underwater!  She watched her new friend go under and decided that she could do it too!

 It was so hot on the 4th that Ellie went for a swim in her clothes at the 1st birthday/4th celebration that we went to during the day.

Beatin the Heat

The girls cooled off on Saturday at Crown Fountain in Millennium Park.

 We spent some time at Foster Beach on Sunday, but were chased away by a summer storm.

Reds Game

Skyline has become our pre-game tradition.

It was Fireworks Friday and Clara loved it!
