Summer Activities

Ellie tried bowling for the first time during an outing with one of my mom's groups.  Guess the first ball went down just a little too slow!

 The air show was in town that weekend, so we had a picnic lunch outside of the zoo to catch some of the show.

Lunch with a view on the aquarium terrace.  Since we could see Daddy's building, Ellie called him and told him to look out the window so that he could see her wave and smile at him : )

 Recently, we have spent some of our time on the weekends exploring areas in which we may want to permanently reside.  Last weekend, we headed out to the suburbs for an end-of-summer festival where Ellie enjoyed some carnival rides!

 Rob and Nikki made a trip up for the Coldplay concert.

 

 Andy and Kelly came up to see the Reds play the Cubs at Wrigley Field.

 We did some sight-seeing downtown with them the following day.

 We walked to Buckingham Fountain and realized that we were just in time to see the presidential escort.  Just part of the tour : )

 We had the best time at Rob and Nikki's all week!  Playing dress-up with Nikki's old dance costumes and dresses was a favorite daily activity.

 Ellie and I met up with some friends at Kings Island.

Ellie definitely left their house a better swimmer!  She made sure to get at least one of them out there to swim with her every chance she could.  She had an absolute blast!

 We met up with Justin and attended his family reunion before heading home.  Here is Great Grandma Lash and all of her granddaughters.  What a sweet picture : )
