Final summer days and the first day of school!

While I was taking inventory of the cold-weather supplies we will need this year, these silly girls decided to bundle-up and have a popsicle outside!

We met Wonder Red from the show Super Why at a special story time event at Pottery Barn Kids.

Then, the girls learned how to draw Flounder from the Little Mermaid at the Disney Store.  It was a rather eventful morning at the mall!

The girls were inspired to paint while Daddy was busy spending a weekend painting the office and dining room.

Experimenting with a new camera lens...

All of us girls : )

 Some final summer zoo trips.

Last morning of the summer was spent exploring Magic Mountain.

Ready for the first day of four year-old preschool!!!

A mild summer. Great for being pregnant, but not so great for the pool membership!

Ellie has been staying busy with a jazz/hip-hop dance class and a week of "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" dance camp.

She is also learning all about what the zookeepers and vets do while at zoo camp.

These two are always raiding Mommy's basket of old jewelry!

Up bright and early for a "Christmas in July" celebration.

My summer Christmas creation, thanks to Pinterest!

Only the kids were braving the water at the party.

A Kings Island trip with old friends is becoming an annual summer event.

Ellie with friends Georgia, Lola and Leah

 Sweet girls : )

Getting ice cream and hanging out with Thurman while Ellie's away.

A picnic at the Loveland Castle with Nikki.

Another trip to the zoo with friends.  We were excited to have Austin, Preston and their mommy in town for the day!

 More hand-holding : )

A fairy tea party at the Dublin Irish Festival.

We had a blast hanging out with the Winner family again!

 Getting goofy at Meijer.

Clara spends most of her time at home running around in her undies.  We've realized that she's not quite ready to be fully potty trained, but we're practicing : )

Happy Birthday, Mommy!

 yum!

Birthday and speedy recovery love for Papa!
