Summer Highlights

It is back to school and work time at our house. I ended up having a few extra days at home with the girls...unfortunately it was because they were sick! We had a fantastic summer though, and have about a million pictures to remember it by!

Look who has two teeth....it's the happiest baby in the world!

Clara is getting pretty close to sitting by herself now.

Bubbles!!!

Clara started eating cereal a few weeks ago. She of course eats with gusto!

Roasting marshmallows with the McCain family.

Ellie's first "Go Reds" game with her Daddy!

Skyline time!

She told me the next morning that she picked the blue one, not pink!

Ellie was determined to see fireworks, so she managed to stay awake until the seventh inning when Jay Bruce hit a home run! Ellie and Daddy even made it on the jumbotron! Justin said it was the best Reds game that he's ever been to : )

I had the best birthday this year because we took Ellie to Kings Island!

She said that her favorite rides were the merry-go-round and the log ride!

LaRosa's!

My graduation from Ball State.

We spent a lot of time at the Cincinnati Zoo this summer.

Ellie wanted her picture taken with the elephants : )

Snakes...

snakes...

and more snakes!

A new friend : )

We had fun when the Winner family came to visit! This was about as good of a picture as I could get of four children three and under!

Steph came by that day too!

Jumping with Cullen

Entertrainment Junction with Austin

Not sure if this was a look of determination or of anger...
My Account
It was Christmas in July there and this was as close as either of them would get to Santa!

Lots of water play this summer with Austin!

So sweet. Reading books to Clara : )

This day reminded me of the movie Vacation. Justin and Ellie were excited to go to the pool, but when they arrived, there was a sign on the door that said they had to close for the day. Ellie walked around for days saying, "Sorry, pool's closed."

They decided to run through the sprinkler instead!

Ellie always wants to help : )

I love the parts where Ellie fears no snakes and later reads to Clara. Reminds me of Maddie and Roo! The pics of Clara smiling and playing with the bubbles are precious. Looks like your summer was very fun-filled, except for the sickies at the end!
