Snow...hanging out...and growing.

Snow day!

Clara has really been into puzzles lately.  She's proudly displaying all the ones she put together in that sitting.

Clara's first haircut!!!  Her face shows her nerves and anxiety. She told me afterwards that she was worried that it would hurt.

Something tells me that this is only a first for these two. : )

 Sweet and Sassy never disappoints!

 Her requested, "Elsa braid."

Big girl playing at the mall after the haircuts.

Brooke loves to play peekaboo these days and even says, "boo!"

Some picture frames arrived in the mail and these girls went to town dancing on the bubble wrap.

More snow.  Brooke enjoys watching the snow and the kids playing outside.

The girls were excited to make snow ice cream again this year.

Getting out to play while the snow is starting to fall and accumulate.

Ellie is reading so incredibly well now!  She was excited to be the "Mystery Reader" one day in Clara's preschool class.  Clara's face was priceless as she happily and proudly sat next to Ellie as she read to her class.  We then joined Clara for snack time.

Here, she's reading a book from a set that I got for her last spring.  She loves Fancy Nancy, but never wanted to read them then because they were too difficult.  Now they're a piece of cake!

Clara was controlling the ipad for some Frozen freeze dance and Brooke was showing us her moves. Brooke loves to dance and "sing."

Clara has turned into quite the crafter.  I brought home a Valentine kit and Ellie made one while Clara sat there and made one after another.

The girls and I went to a small Sleeping Beauty play.

 Talking to the not-so-scary Maleficent.

Wet snow...great for playing in and building!

They wanted to build a snowman with some neighbor friends out back, but ended up building a snow horse instead.

They had a blast sledding with Daddy!

Ellie went down the big hill all by herself.

Building our very first snowman!

The first little blonde curl has arrived!!!

Clara did such a great job writing her name on all of her valentines for her classmates.

Working on her 100th day of school project.

Can't believe that we're already 100 days into Kindergarten!

Brooke is our little firecraker!  She is always on the move and is quite the social butterfly these days.  Whether we are waiting in the hall during dance class, at school drop-off or at baby story time at the library, she isn't afraid to approach another child or Mommy and engage them in "conversation."  Her little personality is definitely coming out and she is starting to expand her vocabulary.  She is now saying Mama, Dada, Dixie, go, uh-oh, no....and we think she's says "what's this?" and hm-hmm.  She is also waving, blowing kisses and giving sweet baby kisses.
